| Excise sleuths conduct raids in RS Pura, Bishnah | | |  Early Times Report
Bishnah, Oct 13: Excise Department siezed 8 bottles of illicit liquor and destroyed 220 kg lahan during different raids and booked one person in order to arrest the menace of illicit distillation and sale of illicit liquor in RS pura and Bishnah. On the directions of the Excise Commissioner, Rajesh Kumar Shavan and supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu S. Amarjeet Singh a team of Excise officials led by ETO Rafie naik, comprising of Inspector Excise Ashwani Sharma, SI Rohit chib and Ajay sharma raided Tinde khurd, kotli charka and sikanderpur villages of Bishnah and RS Pura.
In the process, 08 bottles of illicit liquor and 220 kg of lahan which is highly hazardous and injurious to health was siezed and one person booked under section 48 of the Excise Act.
