Srinagar, Oct 13: Security forces on Tuesday claimed to have prevented three youth from joining militant ranks in north Kashmir district of Bandipora. Official sources said that following specific information, a joint team of police and Army apprehended three youth, who were on the verge of joining militant ranks, at Sumbal in Bandipora. “The trio was indoctrinated and influenced by false narratives and motivated to take violent path,” they said. After proper counseling, the youth were handed over to their parents. “Parents should take care of their wards and monitor their activities so that they don’t fall prey to anti-national elements,” the sources said.
