JTC, SKF strike enters 39th day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 9: The ongoing sit-in by JTC and SKF seeking enhancement in cash relief for displaced Kashmiri Pandits today entered 39th day, but the government has not responded yet. The government should meet our demands immediately. The protest was held at dharna place near Lane no 7 in Jagti township in which S L Pandtita urged the government to enhance the monthly cash relief of relief holder's from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000 per family per month and also demanded jobs for those houses where there is no any government employee in the family. Raj Kumar Tickoo unit president JTC Convener Soan kashmir Front J&k said being outside Kashmir,our loss of life and property is increasing for which the state and central government is responsible and said that our sit-in ,agitation, protest ,rallies Will be continued till week demands are met said today is the 39 th day of our sit -in agitation, which we started this on 2-- 10 -2020. “The members demanded Provide free ration to those pensioners whose pension is very low. Members said 20,000 Jobs should be given for unemployed youth of kps,out of these 20 thousand posts 5,000 posts of class VI should be given to the unemployed youth of these families who could not send their children for higher education after matriculation due to poverty and exilement. provide compensation and interest free loans to over aged youth”, the agitating KPs said. |
