JAMMU, Nov 20: A Division Bench of Jammu & Kashmir comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Sindhu Sharma in a PIL, directed Ministry of Rural Development Department, Government of India to file a status report regarding the status of the Himayat scheme viz-a-viz in the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
DB further directed to inform about the distribution of the programme and also issued notice to the Commissioner/Secretary, Rural Development Department, Union Territory of Ladakh.
DB further directed the Commissioner/Secretary, Rural Development Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to file status report regarding the working of the Himayat Scheme in the UTs. The status report shall be filed within four weeks from today. —JNF |
