JAMMU, Dec 10: NSS unit of GDC Khour celebrated Human Rights Day. On the occasion several online activities were undertaken. NSS volunteers and students of the college took the online Human Rights Pledge. Preamble to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a milestone document that proclaims the inalienable rights which everyone is entitled to as a human being was read and discussed. An awarding winning short documentary on human rights was also shown to the students. The day is an opportunity to reaffirm the significance of Human Rights. The event was organised by NSS, Programme Officer, Gurviner Kour under the guidance of Principal of the college, Prof Hans Raj. |
