Jammu, Dec 10: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) today on World Human Rights Day, which is being observed through out world reminded whole world and international bodies as well as government about victim Kashmiri Pandit community, which was driven out of their homes nearly three decades ago by foreign terrorists, dreaded Muslim fundamentalists and appealed national and international bodies as well as Govt. of India not to shut their eyes towards ethnic cleansing and persecution of Kashmiri Pandit community and get their human rights restored at the earliest. On this occasion, KPC President Kundan Kashmiri stated, human rights are the certain inherent rights which are available to all humans irrespective of caste, color, creed, religion, simply because they are born as human beings..These rights are necessary for the peaceful existence of humanity and are the right to liberty, equality and dignity of an individual which are ensured by the constitution, but despite the fact there is large scale of violations of these rights in particular to our victim KP community. He said that it is an appropriate time to pay heed towards the persecuted community of KP,which was looted, ransacked, killed, raped, still ignored,isolated, un-attended and continues to be in exile from the last 31 years. Central Govt. and union territory of the JK administration should identify, acknowledge and provide much needed susor to them . |
