Dy Mayor distributes domicile certificate | | | EArly Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 12: Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation, Vinay Kumar Gupta BJP District President Jammu distributed Domicile Certificate to the inhabitants of Mohalla Kucha Nar Singh in Ward no. 1. A total no. of 51 families were handed over Domicile certificates by Adv. Purnima Sharma and Vinay Gupta District Jammu President in the presence of Ankush Gupta and Kuldeep Kandhari District General Secretaries, Karan Singh Jammu District Vice President, Narinder Gupta Koki and Sangeeta Anand Secretaries Jammu District,Parveen Kerni Mandal President BJP, Parveen Arora State Executive Member and Co Incharge Ayushman Bharat, Rajinder Gupta East Mandal General Secretary, Gopal Sanotra Add. Office Secretary Mandal, Vijay President Booth No. 2 ward 1, Shubh Lata Sharma General Secretary Jammu District Mahila Morcha, Sunita Wazir, Vice President Jammu District Mahila Morcha, Lalit Jain President Panjtirthi Shopkeepers Welfare Association,Gopal Magotra and other prominent members of ward no. 1 were also present. Speaking on the occasion, Adv. Purnima Sharma said that general public shall not have any inconvenience in getting Domicile Certificates and to ensure this, She and her team of BJP Karyakartas had organized camps in the past at different places in the ward in which forms were filled for Domicile Certificates and now this Domicile distribution camp has been organised to handover the Domicile Certificates without causing any problem to the general public. She further said that the distribution of Domicile Certificates will be done Mohalla-wise so as to avoid large gathering and havoc. She further added that her team is always working and will continue to work for the welfare of people and nation. Appreciating the efforts of Adv. Purnima Sharma and Vinay Gupta, residents of the ward said that Jammu & Kashmir needs such people like them for the welfare of society. BJP Jammu District President Vinay Gupta said that the new domicile rules mark the end of misfortune of discrimination against those who had been living in J&K for more than 70 years, but were deprived of legitimate citizenship rights. |
