Akhnoor, Dec 12 Youth rural games and sports association of J&K conduct trials for 7th INDO-Nepal YRGAS competition. In order to select children and youth from various districts of J&K for forthcoming Indo-Nepal youth rural games and sports championship 2020, to be held in Pokhara, Nepal, Youth rural games and sports association of J&K , today 12-12-2020, organized selection trials at the premises of Jammu Sanskriti School, Bishnah. About 150 children and youth participated in the trials for seven games and sports. Children and youth were selected on the basis of their talent and these selected youth will represent J&K state in the 7th INDO-NEPAL youth rural games and sports championship 2020 to be held 21dec to 27 dec 2020. Today’s trials were conducted in the discipline of Volleyball(by Aquib), Kabadi(Gurpreet Kour), Athletics ( Sourabh kumar), cricket (Nitin Sanotra), Yoga(Shrista). The trials were conducted under the supervision of Ravinder Singh(sports teacher) and Rajesh Sharma, Sweety Jyotshi( yoga technical). Tajinder Singh, president, YRGAS, Gurvinder kour, State Secretary/ General Secretary, YRGAS alongwith Gurpreet Singh, joint Secretary, YRGAS were present on the occasion and wished good luck and success in the upcoming competition. |
