Jammu, Dec 12: Apni Party has appealed to the Relief &Rehabilitation Commissioner for Migrants to streamline the process of issuance of migrant certificates to candidates who intend to apply for jobs under the PM Package. While talking to EarlyTimes the general secretary of the party Vijay Bakaya stated that it has been brought to the notice of RRC, T K Bhat by the Apni Party migrant leaders which include Vinod Pandita, Sanjay Dhar and Vishal Jotshi that in the time of pandemic it is not advisable for aspirants to gather in huge numbers without taking any precautions for acquiring migrant certificates which has been asked to enclose the applications but during the procesd they face harrassment and inconvenience at the RRC’s office . Bakaya suggested that Government should think of an easier way of enabling aspirants to apply therefore, in this regard he said it may be more convenient for aspirants if they are asked to submit their ration cards instead of migrant certificate as proof with their applications for the time being so that they can be able to apply for advertised posts within stupilated time frame , he added. Bakaya appealed to the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to look into this matter personally as these bottlenecks may act as a deterrant to the enthusiasm of migrant youth seeking jobs under the PM’s package |
