JAMMU, Dec 17: NCC Naval cadets of Model Academy, the prestigious school of MIER participated in Swachta Pakhwada campaign from 1st December to 15 December 2020. The objective was to create awareness among the public about cleanliness, importance of hand washing, hygiene practices and bringing about behavioural change with respect to sanitization. Around thirty cadets participated in the campaign with great enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility, spreading awareness and making India a cleaner place. They prepared paintings and slogans depicting the steps of combating Covid-19 like maintaining social distancing and utility of wearing a mask. The activities were undertaken by students from their respective homes. Madhu Bala, care taker of the J&K Naval Unit NCC coordinated the event. Rupa Gupta, Joint Director and Pramod Srivastava, Principal appreciated the efforts of the NCC unit of the School in spreading awareness. |
