Jammu, Dec 17: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has directed its officers/officials not to use Chinese Mobile Applications as per the ban imposed by the Government of India. As per order issued by the Chief Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL, Jammu, Er Gurmeet Singh, read that as per office advisory for not using Chinese Mobile Application “Cam Scanner”, all subordinates are strictly advised not to use such applications. “In reference to the “Ban” imposed by the Government of India, for not using several Chinese Mobile Phone Applications, all the subordinate officers are hereby strictly advised not to use such applications, especially, the “Cam Scanner Application” in any official communication. “Alternatives available from the other “Developers”, which are not in the “Banner Category” may be used,” read an order adding “anyone found using “Cam Scanner” shall be liable for disciplinary action warranted under rules.” “As there are directions from the Government of India regarding ban on use of Chinese Mobile Applications, we have issued an advisory for the staff to follow them religiously,” Gurmeet Singh told .He said that action will be initiated if anybody found using any of the applications. |
