JKTJAC demands declaration of B.Ed result of in-service teachers | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Dec 27: A meeting of All Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee was held in Doda under the chairmanship of President JKTJAC Sajad Malik in which all the executive members of the forum has expressed their anguish over the unjustified delay in declaration of B.Ed result of in-service teachers who were officially directed by the authorities of school Education department to pursue their B.Ed course through (SSA) IGNOU during the session 2018-19. While highlighting the issue Mushtaq Ahmed Dar President TJAC Zone Ghat Said that The course of B. Ed is of two years duration which has already consumed three long years and there seems no hope of it’s completion and many in-service teachers are likely to lose their opportunity to get promotion due to callous and negligent attitude of IGNOU and School education department who seemed to be sleeping over this matter, despite of repeated requests made by the teachers. It’s pertinent to mention here that the in-service teachers(B. Ed aspirants) have completed term end examination and submitted all the required assignments but still there result is pending due to the reasons best known to the IGNOU/SSA authority. The teachers in one voice alleged that the other counterparts of these teachers have completed their B.Ed course from other universities but we were compelled by the school Education authorities to get enrolled through IGNOU, where we stand stuck unnecessarily in the process of completion of B. Ed degree as there is fixed time period for deceleration of various results in IGNOU but in the case of result of in-service teachers the result for B.Ed is being delayed unnecessarily and ill-logically which is clear cut and naked violation of human rights. |
