| Post Office among big industrial establishment disconnected by JPDCL | | |

jammu, Dec 28: Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) Gangyal under the directions of Chief Engineer Distribution Gurmeet Singh, led by PD Singh Executive Engineer, Electric Division-II, Gandhi Nagar and AEE, Gangyal Nitin Mahajan carried out drive to disconnect connections of wilful defaulters of PDD having huge pending arrears. During the drive Post office Bari Brahmana having no power connection among 7 Big Industrial connections were disconnected.
The Power of Sarveshwar Oversees having pending arrears of more than 10 Lakhs, ESS EMM Ice Factory having pending arrears of Rs. 22.97 Lakhs, ACE Engineers having pending arrears of 4.68 Lakhs, Shiv Shakti Metals having pending arrears of 7.07 Lakhs among many others was disconnected during the drive.
As per official spokesman, in continuation to daily disconnection drive, the Enforcement Team headed by Executive Engineer along with Assistant Executive Engineer, Assistant Engineer, Feeder Managers and other field staff conducted inspections in different sections of Electric Sub Division Gangyal and apprised the Industrial Consumers that J&K Government has already waived off 50% demand charges of the industrial and commercial consumers for the year 2020-21, so the pending arrears should be immediately cleared. The readings of more than 20 industrial units were randomly checked to stop Power theft. |
