Jammu, Jan 4: Tawi Welfare Society today felicitated Geetu Aulakh, the newly elected member of District Development Council Jammu in a well organised and impressive function held at Apnavan Sure Chak.
Society members welcomed Geetu by garlanding and presenting a bouquet to her. A memento was also presented to Aulakh as a token of love. In her address Geetu Aulakh assured audience to do her best for the upliftment of the area. She thanked people of the area for showing faith in her and giving her an opportunity to serve them. Vikram Randhava former MLC, Jagar Singh a prominent social personality, Dinesh Gupta former Regional Secretary Indian Red Cross Society Jammu, Gopal Sharma retired DFO, Kulbir Singh retired CEO Jammu, Raj Kumar Tarkhan Corporator Channi Himmat , Subash Chander Sharma a Govt contractor, Sarpanch Sonamdeep Aulakh, Sarpanch Balbir Kumar ,numberdar Parveen Kumari and a large number of prominent people of the area were present at this occasion. |
