New council for J&K UT of Bharat Scouts and Guides discussed | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 4: A new council for J&K UT of Bharat Scouts and Guides was discussed along with a detailed agenda of the meet. The other matters for the importance to the development of Scouting & Guiding of both the UT's (J&K and Ladakh) was unanimously discussed by the Adhoc committee. Salim-Ur-Rehman was elected as chairman of the Adhoc committee and Nasreen Khan, acting State Secretary cum Coordinator was elected as an Administrator to continue the process for the formation of State/U.T Council of both the Union Territories. Mohd Younis Malik ,Director School Education, Kashmir came all the way from Srinagar to make it possible to attend the meet. He shared his valuable and practicable suggestions for the development of the Youth for imparting non formal education which is one of the necessary aspects of today's need in education as well as for the society. He assured the house for his kind support to this noble movement Bharat Scouts and Guides. Joint Director, School Education Jammu (Representative of Director School Education Jammu) praised the role of Bharat Scouts and Guides for bringing the positive changes in Society.
