Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 4: Urging Lieutenant Governor to take an early decision with regards to the demands of daily wagers, the members of All Departments Casual Labour United Front (ADCLUF) Jammu Province said that the DDC election process is over now and it is high time to provide relief to 61000 families as was assured. Addressing a press conference here today, the members of All Departments Casual Labour United Front said that a delegation of representatives of daily wagers led by Ravinder Raina, State President Bharatiya Janata Party and Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma had met LG Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan Jammu after their 48 days long agitation on November 11. They further said that the LG had assured that the process will be started after the DDC elections and it was after his assurance All Department Casual Labour United Front decided to suspended their strike. They said if the demands of the workers are not conceded by January 15 then there will be no option for them other than to restart their agitation. The members addressed and present in the press conference included Akhil Sharma PDD, Ashish PDD, Pardeep Singh Agriculture, Basant Singh Floriculture, Devi Dass Floriculture, Mukhtiar Wani Estates Department, Parshotam Estate Department, Narinder Kumar Technical Education, Ravi Hans PHE, Bhanu Partap PHE, Navdeep Singh PHE and several others. |
