JAMMU, Jan 5: Vikas Gupta, vice president of Judo federation of Indian and joint secretary of J&K Olympic Association is nominated as a member of Talent Identification Zonal Committee for North Zone (Judo) of Khelo India identification program as initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of India. State/UT covered are J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi,Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Roles and responsibility are identification of grass- root talent and ranking of athletes. Vikas who was former outstanding judoka of J&K has a distinction of representing India teams as a official in International level many times |
