RAJOURI, Jan 5: A door to door awareness campaign under the overall supervision of the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh was conducted today by the field functionaries of the Health and ICDS Department. The frontline workers of twin departments including Angwandi and ASHA workers conducted door to door awareness campaign and made the public especially the youth aware about the ill effects of drugs on health and society, they appealed to them to stay away from drugs to achieve socio economic development. The field functionaries raised awareness of a number of causes behind drug addiction, drug trafficking and remedies to put an end to the menace of drugs. Drug abuse makes the youth dependent, incapable to face the challenges and finally takes their life.
