Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 18: Road Safety month was organized today at Gulshan Ground Jammu which will be observed from January-18 to Feb-17, and the programme was attended by school and college students, mini bus union Jammu volunteers, NCC groups and the NGO'S. The function was graced by the Commissioner Tpt. Pardeep Kumar, Additional Dy. Commissioner Jammu, SSP Traffic, RTO Jammu Dhananter Singh and other luminaries including Ravinder Kr. Bhat Chairman & Founder (Team Road Safety Champions). All the dignitaries expressed their views during the speech on Road Safety and aware the public about the Road Safety measures to be adopted while driving the vehicle on the roads. On the occasion, Bhat in his speech focused on the responsibilities of students, traffic personals, society, parents and the drivers which have to be a role model in the field of Road Safety. He also apprised the participants about the death and accidental figures which happened due to road accidents in the country as well as in the whole world. He also appreciated the RTO Jammu to make this event a great success even under the pandemic Covid-19. |
