| JMC seals unauthorized construction | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 18: The Enforcement Staff of the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) led by the Chief Enforcement Officer undertook a drive against the violations and unauthorized constructions in different areas falling under the jurisdiction of JMC and took necessary action.
The team sealed the premises of Mohd Rashid at Sunjwan, Jammu for erecting unauthorized construction without the permission of the JMC.
The team sealed the Tuition Centre of TK Raina at 324/B Sec No: 01, Durga Nagar, Jammu running without the permission of the JMC.
The sealing of the unauthorized constructions have been taken under the provisions of Section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation appeals to the general public to refrain from making violations and unauthorized constructions else action as admissible under rule leading to demolition / sealing will be taken.
The drive was conducted on the instructions of Avny Lavasa, Commissioner JMC and under the supervision of Joint Commissioner (Adm), JMC. |
