JAMMU, Feb 16: Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) organized "Catch the rain where it falls, when it falls" programme at Sai Palace Mishriwala, Jammu.
On the occasion, District Development Council chairman Bharat Bhushan was the chief guest while Bikram Singh Gill was the guest of honour.
Nisar Ahmed Butt District Youth Coordinator, Rajesh Dagotra Lab Assistant, Water Testing Lab JJM, Gurneet Singh ACT NYK Jammu, Vikas Sharma, Yoga Instructor, Palvi Verma Sarpanch, Rohit Verma ex-Sarpanch, Shakti Sharma Youth Club president, Omi Khajuria Vice Sarpanch, Shubjeet Singh Naib Sarpanch, Basharat Hussain Malik social activist and youth from different blocks of Jammu and Samba district participated in the programme.
During the programme, lectures on saving water was delivered by resource persons and chief guest and discussed the ways of saving rain water at home and how to utilise the water in a proper manner. After that Pledge was taken on Water Conservation and a rally was also organized to make water conservation message more effective.
