Srinagar, Feb 16: A woman, who was critically injured in a fire incident in the border town of Uri in north Kashmir district of Baramulla earlier this month, succumbed at a hospital in Srinagar on Tuesday. With this, the death toll in the fire incident has risen to three. Official sources said that the woman, identified as Roshi Begum, succumbed to the burn injuries in a hospital in Srinagar on Tuesday morning. “Begum’s son Wahid Ahmad, who was also injured in the incident, succumbed in the hospital on February 14 while another person identified as Sajid Ahmad had died earlier,” they said. Five persons were injured in a fire incident at Sultandaki in Uri on February 7. |
