| NSS unit of GDC Darhal organizes plantation drive | | |  Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Feb 18: A plantation drive was organized by NSS unit of GDC Darhal in collaboration with Agricultural Department Rajouri in which SDAO Kamal Ganjoo trained the volunteers to do skillful kitchen garden plantation. He particularly taught the methodology of seeding Marigold. Principal of the college Prof Sumanesh Jasrotia thanked the Agriculture Department Rajouri for providing a golden opportunity to the NSS volunteers of the college for learning technological know-how in agriculture and plantation of flowers. He said that the skill taught by the Agriculture Department shall be of tremendous use for the young generation as they are the future of the country and can develop their own farms as well as agricultural industries.
On this occasion, Aftab Bhat, Agricultural Assistant provided Marigold seeds to the volunteers for plantation in their houses and neighborhood. He also assured to provide support in the future plantation drives to be organized by NSS Unit of GDC Darhal.
