Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 3: With the approval of Dr Karan Singh ji, Chairman Trustee, J&K Dharmarth Trust Council today constituted an Advisory Committee which shall advise the Council in severe matters and shall endeavour to amicably settle the issues of some of the striking employees. The members who have been included in the Advisory Committee of J&K Dharmarth Trust are Dr. Vishwa Murti Sharma, Former Principal Sanskrit Mahavidayala; Pt Shiv Raina, Famous Astrologer and Public Figure; Surinder Gupta President, Raghunath Bazaar Businessman Association; Pradeep Gandotra, Chartered Accountant; Prof. Veena Gupta, Former HOD Department of Dogri, University of Jammu; Prof. Champa Sharma, Former HOD Department of Hindi, University of Jammu; Chartered Accountant Joginder Singh, Former Director, J&K Bank Ltd; Praveen Sharma, President, Public Opinion Forum; Anmol Rattan Sethi, Chairman Mandirs Committee; Vijay Saraf, Prominent Businessman and Public Figure; Shailendra Aima, Educationist; Rameshwar Singh Jamwal, President, Criminology Society of India (J&K Chapter); Pawan Shastri, President, Jammu Yatri Bhawan; Bharat Choudhary, Prominent Businessman; Sanjeev Prabhakar, Prominent Public Figure; Satpal Sharma, President, Yog Sansthan; Anil Sharma, President, Dharmik Yuvak Mandal; Maj. Superintendent of J&K Police. Ajay Gandotra, President of the Trust said that it is unfortunate that people having ill intentions are accusing Dharmarth Trust of distrustful acts. He asserted that J&K Dharmarth Trust is more than a century old institution established by the Maharaja Gulab Singh for the upkeep and preservation of temples and other shrines in the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir. "Some individuals having dubious credibility and ulterior motives are misguiding people of the UT of J&K against J&K Dharmarth Trust by leveling baseless accusations," he said. The Trust's President hoped that the newly formed Advisory Committee shall provide insightful opinion to the Council and will surely improve the working of J&K Dharmarth Trust. |
