Influential Govt official tweets ‘anti-Govt’ post!

Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 3: One allegedly influential government official, who is accused of running a “business of woman rights”, has made an anti-government tweet over allegations against the security forces dating back to 1990s.
The government servant, who is supposed to be observing the guidelines which prevent the officials from speaking against the establishment, has made one such brazen expression against the security forces when nothing has been proved against the men in uniform in that case.
The official had shared the allegation of rape against security forces on her Twitter account.
“How can a government official make any such post or share the same which goes against the interest and image of the government?” said a delegation of Kashmir Administrative Officers on the condition of anonymity.
They said the said women officer, who also claims to be “champion of human rights” was responsible for “destroying several homes in Jammu and Kashmir.” “At first she was associated with a so called womens group that was finally dissolved due to complaints of grabbing money from victims and blackmail and now she is being allowed to run a new venture which now openly posts tweets against the national interests,” the official said. Sources said the said official enjoys “patronage of some senior officials who have not only been shielding her but now patronize her to a level that she joins the chorus of anti-national lobby.”
Sources said a complaint in this regard was being brought into the notice of the government. “The complaint against the said officer is that despite being a government servant she runs a so called women forum which claims to be in the interest of the female folk and is involved in numerous anti-national acts,” said some complainants.
“The reality is that the group has added fuel in the marital disputes. In some cases her group was accused of blackmailing people and several formal complaints were filed in police. That group has also been involved in anti-national acts,” alleged an official.
He said it was after filing of complaints in police that the “said woman had closed down her previous office of private business in the name of women rights.”
“But now she is running her new office where even the role of security forces is being challenged. This is brazen,” said some KAS officers.
Despite repeated attempts the said officer was not available for comments.
Meanwhile the officials have appealed Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to get an inquiry ordered into the conduct of the said official.
