EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 3: The teachers in remote High School Sigdi Bhata of Mughal Maidan Tehsil in Chatroo Sub-Division of Kishtwar District have started making announcements on the mike from inside the school premises urging the students to attend their classes. As per the details available with “Early Times” one of the teacher posted in High School Sigdi Bhata identified as Imtiyaz Ahmed could been seen in a video available with “Early Times” making announcement on locally arranged mike system through which the said teacher was found urging the students of 9th and 10th class to attend their classes since the schools have been opened from March 1. Other staff members posted in the school can also be seen in the video clip. He also asked the students who had yet to seek admission in 9th class to come and attend the school through provisional admission till they received 8th pass certificates from the concerned school from which they have passed the 8th class examination. The decision on part of the teaching staff to make the announcement from mike came after no student came to school for attending the classes since some parents are said to be reluctant to send their wards to schools for attending the classes due to fear of COVID-19. The teacher also made the announcement with regard to beginning of class work for the students of class 1st to 8th from March 8. |
