Sikh organizations demand release of detained Kissan movement supporters | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 3: To discuss the various issues confronting the people in general and the farmers in particular, a meeting of various Sikh Organizations of J&K held under the chairmanship of Sudarshan Singh Wazir, Chairman, Sikh United Front J&K. Addressing the meeting, Sudarshan Singh Wazir condemned the action of Delhi police who arrested two supporters of Kisan movement from Jammu and many others from few other states and put them in Tihar Jail. An appeal is made to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and L G J&K Manoj Sinha for early release of arrested persons. Wazir also appealed to the Central Govtto roll back the three anti-farmers' farm bills against which the farmers across the whole country are on protest for more than 100 days. He said that the implementation of these bills will make farmers' economic condition bad to worse. Those present in the meeting were Other Various Sikh leaders and Organizations who supported and raised their voice in the favour of Wazir's argument were Dayal Singh Wazir Chairman Shiromnani Akali Dal J&K, Darbinder Singh President Shiromani Akali Dal J&K, Mohinder Singh Chief Organizer Bhai Kaniya Nishkam Sewa Society J&K and ex-Member DGPC Jammu Rajinder Singh General Secretary Shiromani Akali Dal J&K and several others. |
