Jammu, Mar 11: Maha Shivratri was celebrated with religious fervor in Jammu’s oldest and biggest grain market Ware House-Nehru Market. On this occasion SP South Deepak Digra and SDPO Sh. Purshottam Mengi along with office bearers of Traders Federation Ware House-Nehru Market inaugurated Langar for general public and workers of Mandi. Both the officers on this occasion extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious festival of Mahashivratri. SP Jammu South Deepak Digra said that the festivals symbolize the values of devotion, brotherhood, mutual existence and harmony, which are the hallmarks of our glorious cultural ethos. He hoped that the auspicious day will usher Jammu and Kashmir in a new era of peace and development and further strengthen bonds of brotherhood among the people.
