RSS J&K co-ordinator releases special issue of Trikuta Sankalap

JAMMU, Mar 11: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has been serving in Jammu and Kashmir since 1940. During every critical moment the volunteers of Sangh came forward and worked for the society. The example of continuation of the same tradition was given by the Sangh volunteers during the Corona period from the beginning of the lockdown in the year 2020 till the end of it, through the service to every section of affected people. This was stated by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh co-ordinator of Jammu and Kashmir Dr. Gautam Mengi during the release of the special issue of Trikuta Sankalap monthly magazine in presence of Satyapal, member of the RSS province executive and Dr Neelam Sareen, member of the editorial board of Trikuta Sankalp. The event was organized by Trikuta Samvad Kendra, Jammu Kashmir in this regard.Dr Gautam Mengi said that in the special issue of Trikuta Sankalp,has inspirational topics related to service work done by volunteers of RSS in all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir have been published based on their experiences.
Highlighting the service works, Dr. Mengi elobrated that during the Corona period in Jammu and Kashmir, volunteers had distributed 19,7770 food packets, more than 45 thousand sanitizers, 1,36,562 masks, 58, 716 ration material kits, 510 PPE Kits and Ayurvedic decoction to 3490 affected people. In addition to providing assistance to 24,749 provincial families, financial assistance provided to 166 people and three blood donation camps were also organized by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh volunteers. During this period, RSS provided financial ais and support to 600 disabled persons, 23 programs have also been organized in the honor of the cleaning staff and the volunteers have honored the cleaning staff
