Jammu, Mar 11: Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Athletics Association will hold 19th J&K UT Athletics Championship from March 19 to March 21 at University of Jammu grounds. The event is being held in collaboration with Jammu University and under the aegis of Athletics Federation of India and sponsored by J&K Sports Council. “The competitions will be held in under 14, under 16, under 18, under 20 and Open age categories for both boys and girls. Athletes are directed to send their entries through their respective district associations before March 18,” informed general secretary of the Association, Sharat Chander Singh. Athletes from districts where championships have not been held so far, advised to contact Ramesh Sharma (senior athletics coach, 9419796769) bringing along date of birth certificate issued by the competent authority, 10th class certificate and Aadhar card for age verification. “The age verification process shall start on March 19 from 7 am onwards at the venue.
