Jammu, 11 Mar. One day awareness programme was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the supervision of Dy. SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu at NCC Camp Nagrota. In the awareness camp NCC cadets were given the knowledge of Fire Fighting, First Aid (CPR, Chocking, and Emergency Methods) and life saving techniques during the disaster.
Group Commander Brig.. Satish Kumar, Colonel P.K Shina highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence. Atleast 550 NCC has attended the Awareness Programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Dy. SP. Shashi Thakur Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu highlights the importance and role of Civil Defence in the human life and also stressed upon the motto of the Civil Defence i.e, selfless services of Volunteer to the nation as and when it needs.
Apart from Civil Defence Instructors/officials of RCDCC, Jammu Sh. Paramjeet Kumar Chief Warden CD Jammu, R. Vijay Magotra Dy.Divisional warden CD Jammu were also present on the occasion. |
