Jammu, Mar 11: Mahashivratri was celebrated in a unique way at Healthy India Stronger India today. Hira Lal Abrol, chairman HISI along with members of the NGO distributed ricebags and sugar packets to needy widows and sought their blessings for health and well-being of all people. While addressing the staff and students of Healthy India Stronger India he inspired them to respect the virtues of their religion and follow the righteous path as enshrined in religious faiths. During the pooja ceremony, the students and staff prayed to lord Shiva to provide a sense of balance to the world and bring the humanity out of this pandemic situation. The program ended with chanting of Mahamritunjay Mantra. Healthy India, Stronger India is an NGO founded by its Chairman, Hira Lal Abrol. This NGO is running a ‘Free Training Centre’ for skill development of needy and poor children from BPL families. The training center offers 3 months, free courses in Basic Computers; Cutting & Tailoring Classes; Beautician Course, Vocal Music, Dance as well as Free Library for the students. Nearly 2550 students have passed out, after successful completion of courses from this center. They have been placed in various organizations, some of them have even started their own ventures. |
