JAMMU, Mar 11: On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member, Raman Suri, today released the Shiv Bhajan titled “Shiva De Dware” at an impressive function held at Hotel Vivek, Below Gumat, Jammu in presence of the artists, special guests and media persons. The Bhajan is sung by acclaimed singer from Jammu, Sonali Dogra, and lyrics written by Neelam Kumari and Ravi Sagar. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and the video has shots of Shri Amarnath ji, Shiv Khori ji and many places related to Lord Shiva that mesmerises the viewers. Speaking on the occasion, Raman Suri said, there couldn’t have been any better day to release the Bhajan by daughter of Jammu, Sonali Dogra, who has also sung several devotional songs dedicated to Mata Vaishno Devi, Mata Machail, Mata Bawe Wali and also performed around the globe. Appreciating the hardwork that went into making Shiva De Dware, which has been directed and choreographed by Akash Dogra, he said that this Bhajan is going to create waves on social media as well. Sonali Dogra, he said, has performed around the globe at very important events and had remained brand ambassador of national schemes like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. She has also won several awards and earned appreciations in Jammu and Kashmir as well as in other states besides countries like Canada, Japan and Australia. Speaking on the occasion, Sonali Dogra thanked Raman Suri for the honour and said that he is committed to social and religious obligations and has been doing great works for the society, be it in times of pandemic, floods or any other natural calamity. |
