| JKEEGA appeals Lt Governor, Chief Secretary to revoke suspension of SE | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Electrical Engineering Graduates Association [JKEEGA] today in the executive body meeting chaired by Sachin Tickoo, general secretary passed a resolution appealing Lt. Governor, Manoj Sinha and Chief Secretary Jammu and Kashmir to revoke the prosecution and suspension order of Er. Mohd.Yousuf Baba, Superintending Engineer, JKPDD.
The said officer had been assigned additional charge of Electric Division –Sumbal for a short period of two months, when the issue of wrong drawal of salary from official account of Executive Engineer had surfaced even though the facts had revealed the said drawal was happening since well before him taking charge temporarily and investigation was assigned to crime branch.
It is pertinent to mention that Er. Mohd.Yousuf Baba has had an unblemished career spanning over 35 years and administrative department has always appreciated his upright character and integrity.
He has been assigned sensitive assignments keeping in view his clean record of service. The said case needs to be examined thoroughly in light of the minimal period of the assignment of ED-Sumbal with Er.
JKEEGA appealed Manoj Sinha and Chief Secretary B.V.R Subarmaniyam for reconsideration and revocation of the prosecution sanction an suspension order of very honest and dedicated Superintending Engineer. |
