| DDC chairperson urges people to take Covid vaccination | | |

RAMBAN, Mar 13: The DDC Chairperson, Ramban Dr. Shamshad Shan today urged people over the age of 60 years and those between the ages of 45 and 59 with co-morbidities to undergo Covid vaccination in the district. In a statement, the DDC Chairperson also sought cooperation of the other DDC members, BDC chairpersons and public representatives to motivate people to take the Covid vaccination for which elaborate arrangements have been made by the Health Department Ramban. He said the department has set up 55 Covid vaccination centres across the district to vaccinate people over 60 years of age and those with co-morbidities in Phase-III of Covid vaccination programme. Dr. Shan also advised the public representatives to highlight the importance of Covid vaccination and urged them to carry out awareness drives during block diwas programmes organized in the district. |
