Jammu, Mar 13: Even as senior politician, Basharat Bukhari has parted ways with the National Conference, the Early Times had reported about his plans over a month ago.
On February 9, the Early times that reported that “In a major setback for the National Conference, a senior leader of the party is likely to quit the NC soon.”
Quoting sources, this newspaper had said, “Leader from north Kashmir, who was previously a loyalist of the Peoples Democratic Party, had been staying away from the activities of the NC for quite some time.”
Though it took Bukhari four weeks to decide his future, the ET had foreseen the decision with all precision.
