JAMMU, Mar 13: "Golden Gladiator Club" of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET), Jammu organized an Inter-Department Girls Badminton Tournament today. The main objective of this tournament was to make first semester girl students to indulge in extra-curricular activities.
In this tournament, 1st year girl students from all streams i.e. Mechanical, Civil, Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering participated. The match started with welcome address by Dr Rakesh Verma, HOD (Applied Sciences) and Yuvraj Singh, Convener, Sports Committee. Later after commencement of the match, Palvi Sharma from CSE department defeated Nitika Bilouria from CSE department in straight sets by 2-0 and was announced as winner. Prof (Dr) A. K Srivastava, Director, YCET congratulated the winner. Palvi Sharma and motivated all the participants for their active role throughout the event. |
