RS PURA, Mar 13: DDC Member, Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony along with BDC Chairman, Tarsem Singh started blacktopping work of Sunderpur to Badyal Qaziya here today.
While speaking on the occasion, Tony said that the people of Suchetgarh area had faced political apathy since decades. He further said that BJP during its rule has miserably failed to provide basic amenities to the people due to which the people of border village are facing immense problem.
The DDC member lambasted local leadership of BJP for depriving the people of J&K of the basic amenities and said that the party leadership has miserably failed to deliver on its promises made with the people during the previous elections. He said that BJP has snatched the statehood of the historic J&K and degraded it into two UTs which was a big blow on the developmental aspect of the erstwhile state and people were deprived of their democratic rights.
“People across the UT have been reeling under financial crunches besides lack the basic and fundamental amenities as the BJP has only minted their pockets,” he said that there is a dire need to over through the BJP even from the Center for the overall good of the masses.
Tony, while stressing upon the executing agency to maintain quality of the work, said that it should be completed within the prescribed time. He also assured the people that he is committed to provide all basic amenities to its citizens and all other demands of the people of the area would be fulfilled soon.
