| PWO organises awareness prog on HIV/AIDS,drug de-addiction | | |

JAMMU, Mar 17: JAMMU, Mar 17:An awareness programme on HIV/AIDS and drug de- addiction was organized by Public Welfare Organization (PWO)Jammu today under aegeis of J&K AIDS Control Society at Government High School Patta Bohri Jammu which was attended by people of the area and students of the School. Nishi Sharma Headmistress of the School was the chief guest. She delivered lecture on the topics of HIV/AIDS and drug de- addiction in depth and imparted awareness on the subject to the participants. She impressed upon the youth to come forward and play their assigned role in eradicating this menace from the society which is the need of the hour. Masks ,sanitizers and certificates of participation were also distributed among the participants by the chief guest and president Public Welfare Organization on the occasion. Aditi Mahajan, Rena Dhar, Sarla Devi and Soni Pandita (president PWO) while speaking on the occasion delivered lectures on the topic and imparted awareness to the participants how to take preventive measures to prevent from spreading such dreaded diseases. |
