JAMMU, Mar 21: The hunger strike of Dharmarth Trust Employee Association enters 111th day and chain hunger strike enters 84th day demanding the merger of all the temples of Dharamarth Trust into Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. A delegation of 4 members of the association namely Rajinder Shastri, Pandit Sanjib Sharma, Pandit Parshottam and Kamal Singh went Delhi and met MPs Sakshi Ji Maharaj, Lalu Singh and Meenakshi Lekhi. The delegation apprised the MPs about the mismanagement and misappropriation of the Dharamarth Trust funds.
Every incident since the beginning of the hunger strike was explained to members. The delegation was assured that they would forward all the records to Home Minister Amit Shah, with the assurance that the demands are genuine and must be considered forthwith. The persons sit on chain hunger strike today are Pt Madan Lal, Pt Parshotam, Pt Bushan Kumar and Pt Vinod Kumar. |
