Akhnoor, Mar 21: A Special Lok Adalat was organized in the premises of Munsiff Court Akhnoor under the chairmanship of Chairperson Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Akhnoor. A total number of 14 criminal cases were taken up and 10 were disposed off and a fine of Rs. 1900 was realized on spot. A total number of 3 civil cases were taken up and Nil was disposed of. Besides this, a total number i of 145 traffic challans were also taken up and disposed off and a fine of Rs. 143000 was realized on spot. Litigants, Bar Association Committee Members, Assistant Public Prosecuting Officer and Para Legal Volunteers were also present i in Special Lok Adalat.
