BSS holds workshop on implementation of NEP-2020 | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 27: A day long workshop for teachers of pre-primary classes on 'New Education Policy-2020' was held at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Amphalla here today under the aegis of Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K. In the workshop, the deliberations were held on the framework for implementation of 'New Education Policy-2020' in the Shishu Vatika (pre-primary wing) of Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti administered schools in Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh. The workshop was held in four sessions under the guidance of Pradeep Ji, Organizing Secretary of BSS J&K. Pradeep Ji, who inaugurated the workshop and chaired the first session, laid emphasis on minimising the academic workload on tender kids and called for engaging them through education based activities for their overall mental growth. He urged the teachers to frame and visualise the calendar of such activities. The second session was chaired by Pradeep Tripathi Ji, Prant Prashikshan Pramukh and Prant Nirikshak. He elaborated on the important points related to implementation of NEP-2020. He advised the pre-primary teachers to devise syllabus which eliminates the need for heavy school baggage. In the third session, the teachers sat together and discussed among themselves the set of activities. Subash ji, former Principal and member of Prant Committee also helped the teachers in the activity. The workshop concluded with the vote of thanks by Subash Ji. |
