| Sportspersons meet Deputy Commissioner, SSP Poonch | | |  Early Times Report
POONCH, Mar 27: A delegation of sports personalities of district Poonch met newly joined Deputy Commissioner Poonch Inderjeet and Senior Superintendent of Police Poonch Vinod Kumar.
The delegation discussed various issues pertaining to sports in general and ongoing first Poonch Premium League (PPL).
The Chairman Ehsas Foundation Poonch Parvaiz Malik Afridi who is also the chief organizer of PPL discussed with them the process of the final match of PPL which is scheduled to be played on April 1. He also discussed the way of keeping the youth engaged in sports and away from drugs and anti-social activities.
The Chairman Ehsas Foundation also demanded the better cooperation from the administration in putting up quality sports infrastructure in Sports Stadium Poonch. He also took up the issue of repair of college ground Poonch which is very vital for some key sports activities. Furthermore, he pleaded for the improvement of indoor stadium.
Others who were part of the delegation included Incharge Sports Stadium Poonch Nirdosh Sharma, PEL Pawan Kumar, sports promoters Imran Mir and Umer Farooq. They also extended the best wishes to both the newly joined officers and assured their full support to them. |
