JAMMU, Mar 30: Govt. College for Women, Udhampur organised a lecture under the Manodarpan initiative of MHRD, Govt. of India on "Income tax return filing" as a Placement Cell Activity of the College.
Prof. Binny Kumar, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Commerce, Govt. College for Women, Udhampur was the resource person on the occasion. He provided valuable information to the students about the significance of Income tax and how it can be filled online. He also emphasised about how one can earn by filling income tax return for others. He elaborated his lecture by adding different examples by differentiating the mode of income in various fields. The session went on for about an hour, and was concluded with question/answer session. The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Meenu Mahajan, Principal, Govt. College for Women Udhampur. Paramjit Singh, Coordinator, Placement Cell, Govt. College for Women Udhampur thanked the resource person for the valuable information and for sharing his experience with the students participated in this event. |
