JAMMU, Apr 11: Elections to elect office bearers and Executive body council of SAST were held at SAST headquarters, Tirth Nagar, Talab Tillo, Jammu today. The election was held in very cordial and enthusiastic manner under current standing COVID-19 guide lines.
The Trust members expressed thanks to the Election Officers under whose guidance and directions election process was held with active participation of large number of devotees and members. This election process was unique as for the first time, email mode of polling and postal ballot system was adopted, which has facilitated participation of all members residing at state level, national and international level. This digital mode of polling got over whelming response from the young generation. Many people suggested that the same procedure should be emulated by other organizations and appreciated the election officer and SAST management for facilitating member's participation through Democratic process.
