H&ME Deptt orders transfer of doctors

JAMMU, Apr 20: The Health and Medical Education Department (H&ME) Tuesday ordered transfers and postings of some doctors with immediate effect in the interest of administration and patient care.
As per the order, Dr Yaqoob Ali, I/C Medical Superintendent, GMC Rajouri is transferred and posted as I/C DIO, Poonch while Dr Mehmood Hussain Bajar, I/C BMO, Manjakote is transferred and posted as Medical Officer at GMC Rajouri on the standard terms and conditions of deputation.
However, he will also look-after the charge of Medical Superintendent, GMC Rajouri in addition to his own duties.
Dr Jyoti Jolly, I/C DIO Samba is transferred and posted as I/C ZLO Jammu. Dr Mohinder Kumar, I/C BMO Sohanjana is transferred and posted as I/C BMO Manjakote while Dr Sumir Kaul, (MO), Technical Officer, NIDDCP is transferred and posted as I/C BMO Sohanjana. Dr Mohammad Mushtaq Ahmad Chowhan, I/C BMO Gandoh is transferred and posted as I/C DIO Samba.
Dr Shafqat Javed, Medical Officer, AH Thathri is transferred and posted as I/C BMO Gandoh.
The order stated that the arrangement in respect of these doctors is made purely on temporary basis and subject to the outcome of writ petition(s), if any, pending before the court(s) of law and shall not confer any right upon the officers to claim preferential treatment at the time of regularization/promotions which shall be made strictly in accordance with rules. All the doctors shall be deemed to have been relieved from their respective place of postings.
