4/21/2021 12:26:24 AM

EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Apr 20: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta has impressed upon the BJP workers and activists throughout the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir to fan out in all directions in their respective areas to spread awareness about the need to take appropriate measures for overcoming the challenge posed by second wave of COVID-19 pandemic.
Kavinder was addressing booth level workers while chairing a video conference organized here today in view of sudden surge in Covid cases across the nation including J&K UT. He said that vaccination for all above the age of eighteen years will be thrown open from 1st May 2021 and the BJP cadre has to shoulder the significant responsibility of convincing the people about the safety in getting themselves inoculated against this deadly virus at the earliest.
It is the duty of each and every booth level worker to make people in the area aware about the disastrous effects of Covid pandemic which is in its second wave.
Kavinder said, “BJP is working 24X7 to ensure that the COVID-19 vaccination drive gets paced up so that the life of the people becomes safe and secure amid the second Covid wave. We have fanned out our party activists and workers in all directions across the Union Territory right upto the booth level in order to make the people aware not only about the SOPs to be followed quite strictly but also educating them about the dire need to get them vaccinated.”
He further added that the party cadre at the grass-roots level has been directed to work dedicatedly like NGOs besides educating the people about the necessity of taking precautions like wearing masks and maintaining social distancing even after receiving COVID-10 vaccine shots. He said we are quite confident and sure that under the leadership of PM Modi the nation will soon defeat the ongoing Corona onslaught.
