Kishtwar, Apr 24: In continuation to its drive against the vagabonds, Kishtwar Police has detained a bootlegger during the Naka cheking at Semna colony.
Acting on a specific information police team led by Inspector Abid Bukhari, SHO Police Station Kishtwar, on the instructions of Deputy Superintendent of Police hqrs. Kishtwar Devindar Singh Bandral laid a special naka at Semna colony chowk, Kishtwar. During checking police intercepted one person namely Farooq Ahmed R/O Semna colony Kishtwar carrying a box on his shoulder and during checking 33 bottles of SRHGAM Desi whisky were recovered from the box in his possession. In this regard Police has registered case FIR No 69/2021 under section 48 (a) Excise Act in Police Station Kishtwar. Further investigation into the case is in progress. |
