Jammu, Apr 24: The Sant Nirankari Mandal expresses deep regret and sorrow in sharing the news that Rev. Gobind Singh Ji, President, Sant Nirankari Mandal and a great devoted saint of the Nirankari family has left his physical form and merged into Almighty Nirankar on 24th April, 2021 at 3.20 a.m. in Jalandhar (Punjab) at the age of 86 years. His passing away on Manav Ekta Diwas is undoubtedly a divine culmination of his life as a true gursikh. Rev. Gobind Singh Ji, respectfully known as ‘Bhaiyaji’ was born on 20th July,1935 in Distt. Jhelum (now in Pakistan). He attained Brahmgyan from Shahenshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji Maharaj in March 1944. As a humble devotee of the Sant Nirankari Mission, Rev. Gobind Singh Ji continued to take keen interest in Satsang, Simran and Sewa under the commandment of the Satguru. He was blessed with the authority to reveal Brahmgyan in 1964 by Satguru Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji. His sacrifices and contributions, especially during the period from 1978-1980 will always be remembered with respect in the history of Sant Nirankari Mission. He was the founder Chairman of the 51-member Working Committee constituted by Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji Maharaj. Further in March 1987, he was nominated as the General Secretary of the Sant Nirankari Mandal by Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj. He was also nominated as the Chairman of Samagam Committee for the Annual Nirankari Sant Samagams every year. |
