Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum demands infra at hilly areas

Jammu, Apr 25: All J&K 1947 POJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum convened a meeting of its core committee members under the chairmanship of Amrik Singh and joined by S.Surjit Singh general secretary of Forum. The Forum felt very serious and furious over very fast escalating of the 2nd phase of Covid-19. It appealed Lt. Governor. to provide the oxygen cylinder facility to the remote hilly areas like Udhampur, Reasi, Ramban ,Doda and Kishtwar where hospital and primary health centres are running without infrastructure requirements and neither there is sufficient nor Covid related medicines available .
The Forum further elaborated that there is no ambulance available in these centers, if by the way any available that may be out of order. It appreciated newly appointed Deputy Commissioner Udhampur dedicated efforts rendered in her Distt, but there are many things to do. For example the area falls under the Patnitop development authority like Sanasar, Sudhmahadev, Mantalai and KuD are without the required infrastructure and all these areas are tourist resorts and number of visitors visit there.
It appeal DC Udhampur to visit the areas and directions may be issued on spot for need full issues.
The members who joined the meeting were S. Paramjit Singh ex corporator S Inder Singh Soodan corporator of Ward No 44, S. Jagjit Singh publicity secretary, S Kuldip Singh S kuldeep Kuku, S K.D Singh and others
